The client wanted to modernize the Metropolitan West’s visual identity while retaining the original logo.
I eliminated many of the logo variations in use in favor of entirely the simplified single color MetWest logo. This created higher consistency in branded communications and was in line with what both employees and clients referred to the company as.
To further the enhance the visual idenity, I replaced the previous 3 brand color system with a system of vibrant gradients, which are both much more contemporary and reference MetWest’s custom printing capabilities, which include some of the best custom gradients in the architectural film market.
